Homemade Healthier Tzatziki

Shop bought versions of this dip are usually laden with fat from mayonnaise and preservatives. Homemade tastes so much better too

Serves: 4 Prep time: 10 minutes

ingredients

1 Cup Greek Yogurt

1 Clove Garlic, crushed

1 Cucumber

1 tsp Fresh Dill and/or Mint

Zest and juice of 1/2 Lemon

1/2 tsp Sea Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Slice cucumber in half lengthwise, then in half again. Remove and discard seeds

2. Grate the cucumber and then place into a clean tea towel. Bring the tea towel around the sides of the grated cucumber and wring out as much of the moisture as possible

3. Place cucumber into a bowl with the rest of the ingredients

4. Stir and serve
