Green energy boost Smoothie
This is an all-natural smoothie you can enjoy as a pre or post workout snack.
It helps ward off hunger without filling you up too much. The ingredients aren’t set in stone here
This smoothie is not meant to be overly sweet: enjoy the fresh and clean goodness!
Serves: 1 Prep time: 2 minutes
ingredients
1/4 Cup Frozen Mango
1/2 Small Frozen Bannana
1 Tbsp Natural Hemp or Pea Protien Powder
1 Cup Mixed Greens (such as baby spinach or kale)
1 Cup Non-Dairy Milk, such as Almond or Coconut*
1 Tbsp LSA*
1/2 tsp Psyllium Husk *
1 tsp Flaxseeds*
INSTRUCTIONS
Place all ingredients into a blender and process/ pulse for 30- 90seconds or until smooth.
Notes:
Try to avoid non-dairy milks that are full of fillers, additives, thickeners and preservatives. Always read your labels! Australia’s Own is a good brand.
LSA is a blend of Linseeds, sunflower seeds and almonds. Flaxseeds are a superfood rich in fibre and nutrients . Psyllium Husk is great natural fibre. However if you don’t have any of these on hand, use any natural supplement or ingredient best for you, such as macca powder, magnesium, seeds, etc.
