My Go - To Green Smoothie

This is an all-natural smoothie you can enjoy as a pre or post workout snack.

It helps ward off hunger without filling you up too much. Note there isn’t any protein powder in here – there is natural protein in peas and LSA! But also note – the ingredients aren’t set in stone here. Add a scoop of natural protein if you are hungry and need to be filled up. 

Also a banana is another great addition with filling fibre and nutrients.  

 

This smoothie is not meant to be overly sweet: enjoy the fresh and clean goodness!

Serves: 1 Prep time: 2 minutes

ingredients

1/4 Cup Frozen Mango 

1/4 Cup Frozen Peas 

1/2Cup Mixed Greens (such as baby spinach or kale) 

1 Cup Non-Dairy Milk, such as Almond or Coconut* 

1 Tbsp LSA* 

1 tsp Flaxseeds* 

INSTRUCTIONS

Place all ingredients into a blender and process for 30 seconds or until smooth. 

Notes:  

Try to avoid non-dairy milks that are full of fillers, additives, thickeners and preservatives. Always read your labels! Australia’s Own is a good brand. 

LSA is a blend of Linseeds, sunflower seeds and almonds. Flaxseeds are a superfood rich in fiber and nutrients . However if you don’t have either of these on hand, use any natural supplement or ingredient best for you, such as macca powder, magnesium, seeds, etc.
